EXT. DAY. SATURDAY | חוץ.יום.שבת

Life After October 7, 2023, from the perspectives of six filmmakers, graduates of the School of Audio and Visual Arts at Sapir College residents of the Gaza Envelope, who woke up on the morning of October 7th to a day that would change the course of their lives forever.

In this original documentary project produced by Cinema South Festival, with the support of the New Fund for Cinema and Television and the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation “KAN”, the young filmmakers take us on a journey in search of the home that has been lost; in military reserves, or while packing their homes in the kibbutz, in evacuees hotels, in conversations with friends overseas or near the yellow gate, which was once a symbol of security and protection and is no longer.

When they can finally return home, what kind of home will it be?
