But the mission gets complicated when his classmates demand that he gets rid of it. Roey realizes that the bat is quite similar to him, and he gets into a struggle where it’s not clear how things will turn out.

Her relationship with her father and her virginity both are being tested. In an ultra-Orthodox family, the father lies that the daughter was raped. Her father takes her to the hospital for an examination to determine the status of her virginity. The daughter finds herself undergoing an intrusive examination accompanied by questioning without any ability to make her voice heard and tell the truth. She experiences alienation from her family and neglect from the medical staff in a safe room.

Reut’s relationship with her grandmother changes forever. This mixed-genre, live action/animation film is based on the childhood memories of the director, who discovered her grandmother’s Holocaust diary when she was thirteen

In this original documentary project produced by Cinema South Festival, with the support of the New Fund for Cinema and Television and the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation “KAN”, the young filmmakers take us on a journey in search of the home that has been lost; in military reserves, or while packing their homes in the kibbutz, in evacuees hotels, in conversations with friends overseas or near the yellow gate, which was once a symbol of security and protection and is no longer.

When they can finally return home, what kind of home will it be?
